Many members already know or share the opinion that the country is interesting, and the culture is intriguing. How was your interest started? Was it something in the mass media that sparked your intellec? Were you captured by a history lesson? This question or conversation topic usually comes up when I meet with other gaijin here in Japan.
?????????????????????

For me, Japanese and Japan came to me. In enrolled in a Japanese conversation class just to fill my schedule to qualify for full time student. Fast forward to my first real job after college, the company’s business and projects had me travelling to Japan often. Skip, forward again and my transfer to Japan was offered to me from the Japan HQ side.
